In the times we are in you never know when you'll need your camera to capture a once in a life time moment. That's what this Seattle based family felt when they hooked a small, lightweight camera to their cat. Cooper the cat is your normal everyday housecat but has a very unique hobby, he's a photographer or as his family calls him "catographer. Cooper is hooked up once a week, with a special camera that is attached to his collar. This camera snaps pictures every 2 seconds and allows him to roam around up to a 10 mile radius taking pictures during his normal cat duties. His family says that out of the 40,000 plus pictures taken, he has gotten better and better over time. He has become so diverse in his picture taken that he has graduated from the camera to making films with a video camera. After his appearances on Animal Planet, Cooper has become a worldwide sensation. From Facebook to Twitter and having his own blog, Cooper has accumulated over 12,000 plus fans. He has embraced his role as a worldwide pet figure and allows people to see him up close and in person do work. So as you can see, technology has emerged even in the pet world. A cat that can take pictures? Oh my! Cooper the cat, I like his name. He's a photographer or as his family calls him "catographer". I think that people should look at this post and see the fact that this cat is taking pictures of all sorts and things and you have student photographers who do not want to learn their craft. Lets all take a lesson from Cooper. I like that the camera is hooked up once a week, and is attached to his collar. Very interesting post!
