http://www.bing.com/videos/watch/video/cat-tographer/p24uanh?q=Animal+Planet&rel=msn&from=en-us_msnhp&form=msnrll&gt1=42010

In the times we are in you never know when you'll need your camera to capture a once in a life time moment.  That's what this Seattle based family felt when they hooked a small, lightweight camera to their cat.  Cooper the cat is your normal everyday housecat but has a very unique hobby, he's a photographer or as his family calls him "catographer.  Cooper is hooked up once a week, with a special camera that is attached to his collar.  This camera snaps pictures every 2 seconds and allows him to roam around up to a 10 mile radius taking pictures during his normal cat duties.  His family says that out of the 40,000 plus pictures taken, he has gotten better and better over time.  He has become so diverse in his picture taken that he has graduated from the camera to making films with a video camera.  After his appearances on Animal Planet, Cooper has become a worldwide sensation.  From Facebook to Twitter and having his own blog, Cooper has accumulated over 12,000 plus fans.  He has embraced his role as a worldwide pet figure and allows people to see him up close and in person do work.  So as you can see, technology has emerged even in the pet world.  If you want to check Cooper out go to http://www.photographercat.com/.

10 NEW UPCOMING PHONES...What's NEXT???

In the world we live in cell phones are the most innovative and mobile technology out there.  Why else would they call them "mobile phones"?  I look at it like this, cells are located in every living organism and it seems that in order for our society to live we have to have "cell phones".  The first three weeks of the year have seen more than a dozen announcements from top U.S. carriers, and more are sure to be made at the Mobile World Congress trade show in mid-February. Whether you're with AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, or Verizon Wireless, there's something exciting on the horizon.  Personally I am an AT&T customer and I am looking for a new phone.  I think the AT&T Samsung Infuse 4G will be my choice.  Currently I have a Samsung Blackjack and I'm looking for another smartphone and the Infuse seems to fall right into my preferences for smartphones.  With it's enhanced AMOLED material phone it will make picture resolution and visual applications much better. I'm sure this newly revamped list of upcoming phones will help you too.  Give me your feedback.

10. Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc (AT&T?)

 9. HTC 7 Pro (Sprint)

 8. LG Revolution (Verizon Wireless)

 7. Samsung Galaxy S 4G (T-Mobile)

 6. Samsung Infuse 4G (AT&T)

 5. HTC Thunderbolt (Verizon Wireless)

 4. T-Mobile Sidekick 4G

 3. Motorola Droid Bionic (Verizon Wireless)

 2. Motorola Atrix (AT&T)

1. Apple iPhone 5 (???)

Why Has the Media Not Explored the REAL Rosa Parks?

<object width="350" height="36"><param name="movie" value="http://www.onthemedia.org/flashplayer/mp3player.swf?config=http://www.onthemedia.org/flashplayer/config_share.xml&file=http://www.onthemedia.org/stream/xspf/134859"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed type="application/x-shockwave-flash" src="http://www.onthemedia.org/flashplayer/mp3player.swf?config=http://www.onthemedia.org/flashplayer/config_share.xml&file=http://www.onthemedia.org/stream/xspf/134859" id="OTM_Mp3_Player_134859" name="OTM_Mp3_Player_134859" bgcolor="#FFFFFF" wmode="transparent" height="36" width="350"></embed></object>

During this month you will hear numerous stories of African-American pioneers and heroes who paved the way for younger generations, especially up in coming generations of black Americans.  One of the most popular and talked about stories that you will hear will be about the heroics of one Rosie Parks.  Her actions of bravery and courage aboard a Montgomery bus will be talked about for generations to come.  Not only did Mrs. Parks refuse to relocate her seat on December 1, 1955, but her actions led to the Montgomery Bus Boycott after being arrested for not obeying a white bus driver.

The media has played this depicted story over and over in the minds of people everywhere for years, but no one has ever told the story of Rosa Parks away from the bus conflict.  After her marriage to Raymond Parks, Rosa took numerous jobs, ranging from domestic worker to hospital aide.  She finished her high school studies in 1933, at a time when less than 7% of African Americans had a high school diploma. Despite the Jim Crow laws that made political participation by black people difficult, she succeeded in registering to vote on her third try.  They have never once told of how Parks became active in the Civil Rights Movement, joined the Montgomery chapter of the NAACP, and was elected volunteer secretary.  Parks was a very strong and independent woman that had a lot going for her and was very interesting even before her historical bus standoff.  The media downplays all those accomplishments because they only tell you what they feel you want to hear.  For more of Rosa Parks listen to this podcast and give me some feedback on what you think.

Turmoil Rising

It’s getting ugly over in Cairo.  It seems as though supporters of President Hosni Mubarak and anti-protestors have began an even more intense battle.  Both sides are very passionate about there views and want to be heard.  So passionate that anything will do in order to protect them and place fear into their adversaries.  Camels, horses, wielding whips, and street paraphernalia are the equalizers between these raging groups.  This situation has escalated so much that U.S. officials have issued statements stating that the situation in Egypt is “out of control”.

Some people feel as though this could be the rise of the Muslim Brotherhood.  Others don’t want Islamic radicals to gain any momentum.  Most Americans by now have heard of the attacks on American journalists.  So, what kind of effect do you think this will have on Americans wanting to explore?

Americans right now are at the discretion of those over in Egypt.  That means whatever they feel like reporting and sharing is what we’ll see.  Most likely there will be more social network followers now that we see that a physical presence could come under attack.  My personally feelings are why do we as Americans remain to stay in other countries business like it’s our battle.  I understand that we are beneficiaries of this countries oil and some resources, but is it necessary for us to send reporters and journalist on the battle line and forefront of the turmoil to report issues that are second nature to us.  Think about this and respond to this question.  I’m looking for great feedback.
