US Fighter Jet Crashes.......in LIBYA
On Monday, a US fighter Jet crashed in Libya on a mission to help the people. The two crew members ejected themselves from the plane and were seperated at the point of landing. One crew member landed in a field nearby to the town of Bu Mariem. After realizing that he had sustained minor injuries, he approached the people of this town with caution not knowing whether they were supporters of Moammar Gadhafi or members of the opposition. Shortly after they saw that, the people of the town helped the pilot who was there to protect them by feeding and aiding him. The crash was the first major loss for US and European forces, which over three nights appear to have hobbled Gadhafi's air defenses and artillery and rescued the rebels from impending defeat. I feel as though this could start a uproar and could cause the opposition to build a defense that will prevent more US help in Libya.

I am so thankful that neither pilot were seriously hurt or killed from this crash. Second, I am also thankful that the town’s people helped them. This shows that not everyone is bad. This is amazing that so far in this we have only lost a jet. I feel so bad for the people of Libya. I hope that the civil war soon comes to an end and they get Gadhafi out of there!
ReplyDeleteI hate war, no matter what the purpose is, it hurt people and relationship between countries, I am very appreciated that not everyone in the world like creating war, if the leader of a country can not protect his people out of the war and harm, I do not think he is a good leader, I heard of Gadhafi control the country a lot, some of people against him for a long time.
